Just another 30 something mom, maneuvering through life with two studs for sons. Trying to laugh through the hard times, savor the good times, and blog about it all.

A Word From Jenni
Hi Everyone!
I haven't written in a while. I guess I thought the pictures would tell the story of our lives:) Things are busy this time of year. I was promoted this month and my workload has definitely increased. Cody is also keeping busy. He's done a few side jobs and is working on a bid for Amherst Public. They want a brick sign composed of brick from the old school that was demolished. He's not sure if he'll get it or not, but it's quite a compliment that they asked him to bid it.
Tax season is almost over! No, I don't do taxes, but everyone feels the stress around here. My job is to help everyone celebrate the end of tax season. I'm putting together a Firm-Wide Party for the weekend after the 15th. We'll all be going to Lincoln for the Red/White Game and a Banquet. No kids:)
I'm also planning a trip to St. Louis to attend a training session at the end of May. Cody and Trevor are going to come along (so I don't get lost). I'll be in training from 8-5, so I think they're going to maybe visit the Budweiser Clydesdales, the St. Louis Zoo and maybe a water park. It's crazy to image going to waterpark today! Whew, it's windy! Hopefully May will bring better weather than April did.
I had a great birthday. Cody and I went out to dinner, followed by a drink at the Elephant's Eye and of course, a trip to Wal-Mart! It was a treat though b/c we didn't have any kids w/ us:) Cody and the boys gave me a new camera, hence the new pictures. I got some money from Cody's parents and my parents, which is much appreciated.
Well, I better get back to work! There's much to do:) Hope everyone is having a great April:)
