A Little Bit of This...And a Little Bit of That...

Sick, sick, sick. We've all been pretty sick. Except Cody, he never gets sick. Or if he does he doesn't complain about it (like someone I know...me). Trevor has a nasty cough (note to self - buy Zyrtec). Tyson and I have been passing the same stomach bug back and fourth for a couple weeks. I swear, if there is any type of bug I'll get it. I'm a Lysol addict...I don't get it. I need to do better at taking those horse pill vitamins.

I'm excited that my friend KT is moving back to Nebraska. Even if she is in Omaha. Great excuse for a get-away!

I've been knitting lately. At the beginning of my project it was going to be a scarf, but I think I made it too wide, so I may alter it into a hat. We'll see...I might get mad and pull the whole thing apart, who knows...I've also been reading a great book. The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. You may have seen specials on his last lecture at Carnegie Mellon on ABC. Good book, so far. It gets a little boring when he talks about virtual technology, blah blah...but I'm hanging on b/c I know at some point he's going to break down his overtly positive attitude and talk about dying. I love books that make me cry:(

Trevor also starts pre-school next week. He'll have one more year in pre-school and then he'll officially become a Bronco. He's excited to go to Amherst. A lot of times when we get to the highway and turn left towards Kearney, he'll say "when I'm five and I'm a big boy we'll get to go that way (west) to the big boy school. Chase goes to the big boy school". Well, Chase (Cody's brother) no longer goes to the big boy school, but I don't want to dash his excitement.

Well, I hope everyone has a great Labor Day. Maybe the weather will warm up and we can take the boat out. We might think about taking a trip to Omaha to go to the zoo. We've been talking about it all summer and now summer is almost over.

Tyson's Little Dance

Tyson surprised me with this little dance the other day. He just learned how to wave and clap, but the sexy pose caught me off-guard.

The Epley Family Reunion

On Sunday we attended the Epley Family Reunion. My grandpa is the youngest of 18 children and he's the only one still alive. We threw a surprise 80th birthday party for him. As you can imagine, there were quite a few people there. We had a great afternoon catching up with family and hearing some great stories.
